Provincial Nominee Programs:
The Government of Canada allows the Provinces and Territories to nominate immigrants who wish to settle in a given Province or Territory. Each Province or Territory has their own selection criteria and applicants must first receive their nomination letter before applying to CIC for permanent residency.
This stream allows for immigration to Canada under two classes: The start-up visa and self-employment. The start-up visa class encourages immigrant entrepreneurs to realize the potential of their business idea in Canada.
Live – in Caregivers:
Live-in caregivers are individuals who are qualified to provide care for children, elderly persons or persons with disabilities in private homes without supervision. Both the employer and the employee must follow several steps to meet the requirements of the Live-in Caregiver Program (LCP)
